PSX witnesses bearish trend, loses 2,002 points
KARACHI (92 News) The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a sharp decline on Monday as the benchmark KSE-100 index declined by 2,002 points to close at Rs116,439 points.
According to the PSX website, 310 million shares were traded in the market for Rs20.95 billion, and the market capitalisation decreased by Rs216 billion to Rs14,182 billion.
It is to be noted here that on March 20, the KSE 100 index reached its highest level of 119,421 points for the first time, and 660 million shares were traded in the stock market for Rs38 billion.
