PTI behind negative campaign on social media, says Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is behind the negative campaign on the social media.

Addressing a press conference along with Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday, he said that Shahbaz Gill had been arrested according to the law.

"He has been arrested on an application. The words uttered by Shahbaz Gill has been written in the FIR," he added.

Rana Sanaullah said the PTI had been badly trapped in the Tosha Khana and foreign funding cases.

"An attempt was made to create a rift in the institution through the negative campaign. The narrative has been created under a conspiracy to divert the attention. The task of promoting the narrative was assigned to Fawad Chaudhary and Shahbaz Gill," he added.

He said that a nefarious campaign was launched under a conspiracy over the Lasbella tragedy.
