PESHAWAR (92 News) - PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan announced that they will file an appeal in the Supreme Court against the Peshawar High Court (PHC) on withdrawal of the bat symbol on Thursday.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that there is a question mark on the withdrawal of the election symbol as the SC had already ruled that it would amount to dissolving the PTI.

He said that the judgment will lay the foundation of corruption and horse-trading. "We will not boycott the elections at any costs. Each candidate will contest the election independently if the SC does not restore the bat symbol. The nation will not accept this verdict. I think the verdict has been announced in haste," he added.

The PTI chairman said that the IMF programmes will suffer a loss if there will be no democracy in the country. He hoped that the SC will certainly resolve the issue.
