ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Sunday demanded Rangers operation in Lahore and Islamabad. While condemning the murder of party worker Mirza Tanveer in Lahore, he said that the slain party worker was defending the case of two slain workers due to which he was receiving threats, adding that the police was aware of the threats. Imran Khan said that political killings in Punjab have risen to dangerous level, adding that the Punjab police is working as a militant wing of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). The PTI chairman said that the Sharif brothers use ‘Gullocracy’ where ever they see their defeat. “Sharif brother have completely destroyed the professional credibility of the Punjab police,” he added. He demanded Rangers operation be carried out in Lahore and Islamabad just like one being carried out in Karachi following the rise in target killing.
