PTI chairman Imran Khan visits flood-hit area of Rajanpur

RAJANPUR (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan visited the flood-hit areas of Rajanpur on Saturday.

He reviewed the relief activities in the area. He also interacted with the flood victims and inquired about their problems. He also took an aerial view of the flood affected areas.

Rajanpur Deputy Commissioner Arif Rahim briefed about the steps taken for rehabilitation of the flood victims.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the flood had caused a huge destruction in the area. "The rehabilitation work will be easy after collecting the complete data about the losses due to floods," he added.

On his arrival, Imran Khan was welcomed by former chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, Sardar Nasrullah Dareshak, Punjab Minister for Finance Mohsin Leghari, Punjab Minister for Food Hasnain Bahadur Dareshak, MPAs Awais Khan Dareshak, Farooq Amanullah Dareshak, Ali Ahmed Dareshak and Meena Jaffar Leghari.
