PTI chairman Imran Khan visits flood-hit areas of Southern Punjab

TAUNSA (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan visited the flood-hit areas of Southern Punjab on Wednesday.

He also interacted with the flood affectees. During his visit, he was briefed about the damages caused by the floods.

Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan said that the flood water would have become a blessing had they constructed big dams. "The purpose of my visit is to monitor the relief activities. The feasibility of Saura Dam was prepared during our tenure," he added.

He said that the big thieves suspended the cable during his telethon as they fear losing their power.

Meanwhile, arrangements had been prepared to distribute relief goods among the flood victims. Only a few items were present in the trucks, while a majority of trucks contained bottles of water.
