PTI decides to hold public meetings on large scale for local bodies elections

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to hold public meetings on a large scale for the local bodies elections.

Addressing a meeting of the PTI Central Executive Committee on Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the party leaders to prepare a schedule for the public meetings.

He said that the PTI will vigorously contest the local bodies elections. "Tickets will be awarded on merit. "The party should be organized. Workers are a precious asset of the PTI which is the most popular party in the country," he added.

The prime minister said that the people have no better option except the PTI. He also briefed the meeting about the China tour. He directed the party spokesperson to highlight the success of the China tour.

The meeting reviewed the preparations for the local bodies elections. The PTI leaders also discussed the names for mayors of big cities.
