PTI ET cancels membership of Aleem Khan, suggests same for other senior leaders

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Election Tribunal investigating rigging in intra-party election announced its verdict on Monday to cancel the membership of Lahore President Aleem Khan for influencing the Party elections. As per reports, the verdict issued by Justice (R) Wajihuddin Ahmed, ordered expulsion of Jahangir Khan Tareen and Nadir Khan Laghari and directed not to take them in the party in future. The ET also suggested that the membership of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak be expelled. The tribunal issued show cause notices to Arif Alvi and Saifullah Niazi as well. Earlier, the chairman PTI Imran Khan had constituted the tribunal to investigate in to the alleged irregularities that took place during intra-party elections.
