PTI files petition in Supreme Court to acquire copy of inquiry commission’s report

ISLAMABA (92 News) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking a copy of the inquiry commission that probed the alleged rigging in General Election 2013. As per details, The application has been submitted by the PTI’s lawyer addressed to the Secretary of the Inquiry Commission to obtain the report. Meanwhile, PTI Secretary General Jahangir Tareen has expressed his reservations regarding the delay in announcement of the commission’s report. Tareen has claimed that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz releasing selected excerpts of the report for political reasons. According to informed sources, the inquiry commission has rejected allegations leveled by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding organized electoral rigging in the 2013 polls.
