PTI finalizes Naveed Cheema, Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera for Punjab caretaker CM

LAHORE (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalized the names of Naveed Cheema and Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera for the caretaker chief minister in Punjab.

The decision was made during a meeting of the parliamentary committee with PTI chairman Imran Khan on Thursday. During the meeting, the name of Naseer Khan has also been dropped after the name of Nasir Khosa.

Speaking on the occasion, PTI chairman Imran Khan said that the conduct of the fair and transparent election is a serious matter. "The caretaker government having the best credible capability is suitable for responsibility," he added.

The parliamentary committee will hold consultation on the names proposed by the chief minister and the opposition.
