PTI founder has finalized Sher Afzal Marwat for slot of PAC chairman: Barrister Gohar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan announced that the PTI founder has finalized Sher Afzal Marwat for the slot of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he categorically rejected that talks were going on with anyone. "We will definitely inform the people if talks started," he added.

Barrister Gohar said that the PTI workers were baton-charged and booked for lodging the protest. "The PTI founder will be released soon," he hoped.

He said that the NAB had detained the PTI founder in a baseless case. "The NAB has been constituted to punish the PTI founder. The NAB is active against the PTI leaders, while Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are free. All the FIA and NAB cases against Shehbaz Sharif have been quashed. Nawaz Sharif has been given a clean chit after abolishing the NAB cases," he added.

The PTI chairman said that their protest along with their alliance would continue. "Our protest is for the restoration of the judiciary and supremacy of the law and the constitution," he added.
