PTI founder inviting army to interfere in politics, says Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said that the PTI founder is inviting the army to interfere in politics.

In an interview with the US broadcasting agency, he said that the army should not be involved in politics. “The PTI is directly attacking the interest of the state. The ban on the PTI will be according to the law and the constitution,” he added.

Ahsan Iqbal said that the PTI founder had accepted that the attack on the GHQ was his plan. “There is no room for the PTI in Pakistan with this pattern of politics. However, the PTI can join the national mainstream if it tenders an apology,” he maintained.
