PTI founding member announces to move SC against PHC judgment

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI founding member Akbar S Babar on Wednesday announced to challenge the judgment of the Peshawar High Court (PHC).

Reacting to the verdict, he said that the PHC judgment had challenged the powers of the Election Commission of Pakistan. "The court has pronounced unilateral verdict on the intra-party elections," he opined.

He said that five petitioners, inlcuding he himself, were not issued notices by the PHC. "We had challneged the intra-party elections and provided proofs to the ECP," he added.
