PTI gave Aitzaz’s name for presidential candidate: Khurshid Shah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP leader Syed Khurshid Shah has revealed that the PTI had given the name of Aitzaz Ahsan for the presidential candidate, while his party had proposed the name of Asif Zardari. Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that Fawad Ch had contacted the PPP for a joint presidential candidate. He said that Fawad Ch was assured of the name of Aitzaz Ahsan. “Later, the PTI did not contact the PPP for a joint presidential candidate,” he added. Meanwhile, Fawad Ch has expressed his surprise on the statement of Khurshid Shah. “PTI candidate Arif Alvi is winning and Aitzaz Ahsan should be requested to withdraw from the presidential race otherwise will not make any difference as in any case. Arif Alvi is poised to win by a big majority of the recent political history,” he said.
