PTI govt will have to be sent home if people want to get rid of inflation: Bilawal Bhutto

KARACHI (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that the PTI government will have to be sent home if the people want to get rid of inflation.

In a statement on Saturday, he said that the situation had gone out of control after the imposition of 35 percent income tax on electricity bills.

"The anti-people decisions of the government will bring a new storm of inflation. Imran Khan should impose taxes on his rich friends if he wants to do so," he added.

He said that PM Imran Khan had made inflation the biggest problem in Pakistan. "Imran Khan will not stop attacks on the people if they did not come out of their homes against the government," he maintained.

The PPP chairman said that the increase in the power tariffs will increase the production cost. "The people are already paying taxes from mobile phones to daily-use items in the form of direct taxes," he concluded.
