KARACHI (92 News) – PTI leader Faisal Vawda remained unhurt when unknown gunmen opened fire on his vehicle in Karachi on Friday. Imran Ismail also accompanied him. The attackers managed to escape when the security guards retaliated. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the attack and sought a report from the IG Sindh AD Khawaja. Talking to 92 News after the attack, he said that the people are being killed for speaking truth in broad daylight. “I cannot stop and reveal more truth. Thanks God I survived the attack. There was security with me and hence I survived the attack,” he maintained. The SSP South told 92 News that the CCTV cameras of the shopping mall where attack occurred were dysfunctional. He said that Faisal Vawda was returning from the NAB office. “Four terrorists attacked Faisal Vawda from both sides,” he said. The SSP said that they would register the case against the accused on the pointation of Faisal Vawda.
