PTI leader Shahbaz Gill remanded in police custody for two days

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - A local court remanded PTI leader Shahbaz Gill in the police custody for two days on Wednesday.

The court ordered Kohsar police station to produce Shahbaz Gill again on Friday. Physical remand of Shahbaz Gill was opposed by his lawyer Faisal Chaudhary. Media coverage was not allowed in the court.

Earlier, Islamabad police had arrested Shahbaz Gill. Sources in the police had said that Shahbaz Gill faces the charge of using indecent words against sensitive agencies and their heads besides inciting the people to rebellion.

Meanwhile, the Kohsar police had registered a case against Shahbaz Gill after approval from the Interior secretary. The case had been registered on the complaint of the district administration under sections 124, 120, 505 and 196 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
