PTI MNA Abdul Shakoor Shad holds Hammad Azhar responsible for gas crisis

KARACHI (92 News) – PTI MNA Abdul Shakoor Shad has held Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar responsible for the ongoing gas crisis.

Talking to 92 News on Thursday, he said that the people are worried due to closure of gas in Lyari. "We are trying to contact Hammad Azhar for the last few days, but he i snot responding to the calls of the MNAs," he said.

The MNA said that children to forced to go to school without breakfast. "People are forced to prepare food through wood, which create problems for them," he added.

He demanded that Hammad should be removed immediately as he is not fit for this job. He also demanded that a parliamentary committee should be formed to fix the responsibility for the gas crisis and responsible should be awarded punishment.

The MNA said that he had approached the SSGCL managing director, but he was not taking the matter seriously.

MNA Jamil Ahmed Khan also written a letter to Hammad Azhar and demanded restoration of gas in NA 237. He threatened to stage a protest outside the SSGCL Head Office as well as floor of the National Assembly if gas supply was not restored to NA 237.
