PTI moves Judicial Council for disqualification of NAB chairman

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has on Monday filed a petition in the Judicial Council for the disqualification of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman.

The reference was filed in the Judicial Council under Article-9.

The PTI stated in its petition that the NAB chairman failed to fulfill his responsibilities.

The petition further said that the Supreme Court judges have also raised observations on the NAB chairman in the Panama Case.

The PTI said that the NAB chairman can directly affect the investigation against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members.

The PTI in its petition plead the Judicial Council to immediately bar NAB chairman from work.
