PTI moves SC against PHC verdict on withdrawal of election symbol of 'bat'

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has filed a plea against Peshawar High Court verdict on stripping the party of the election symbol.

The petitioner has appealed to the court to hear the plea immediately.

Talking to the media on Thursday, PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali said that they are hopeful of getting back the election symbol of 'bat'. "We appeal to court to hear the plea at the earliest as the scrutiny time is about to expire and the party has to distribute the tickets," he maintained.
