PTI moves SC on audio leaks about resignations, demands judicial commission
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has filed a petition in the Supreme Court on the audio leaks about its resignations, seeking a judicial commission to probe into the matter.
In the petition, it has been contended that bad intention of the government is visible in the audio leaks. "The prime minister and the ministers hatched a conspiracy in collusion with the speaker," it contended.
The petition also demanded criminal proceedings against all parties.
The PTI also submitted the transcript of the audio leaks in the SC. It demanded that the petition should be attached to the application pertaining to phase-wise acceptance of the resignations.
The petition also stated that the prime minister and ministers had violated their oath. "An inquiry commission should be formed for investigations into the audio leaks about the resignations," it demanded.
