April 5, 2018
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have rejected the tax amnesty scheme. PTI chairman Imran Khan said that those doing corruption are being an opportunity to whiten the black money. “Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has a few months left and he is giving the message that the honest people are fools,” he said. Imran Khan said that the PTI will abolish the scheme after coming to the power. PTI leader Babar Awan said that the scheme has been launched to benefit the children of Nawaz Sharif. “Both sons of Nawaz Sharif deal in property and they are not in politics,” he said. He said that the law does not allow anyone to change the policy a few weeks before the elections. PPP senator Raza Rabbani said that the PPP will vigorously oppose the scheme in the Senate. “It is a licence for the people making money through illegal ways,” he said. He said that all policies of the government are for big businessmen. “What have the rulers been doing for four years,” he said. Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah said that all things are being remembered on the eve of elections.
