PTI protests against inflation across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf protested against inflation across country on the call of PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

As per details, PTI supporters were in a huge number in the rally. Workers gathered in Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Islamabad and other cities. Shahra-e-Qaidin was closed with containers for protests in Karachi. Workers also arrived at F9 Park in Islamabad to protest.

Similarly, a large number of workers also gathered at Liberty Chowk in Lahore. In Faisalabad, workers reached Ghanta Ghar Chowk to protest. Workers protest at Hashtnagri Gate in Peshawar. The PTI leadership led the protests in their respective cities. The protests were also held in other cities of the country.

PTI chairman Imran Khan had said that people are full of anger due to inflation. Workers get ready, they can call for a long march before July 10.

Earlier, Imran Khan had given the call for a countrywide protest against the increase in the prices of POL products. In a video message, he had said that hefty increase had been made in the POL prices. “I had given the subsidy of Rs200 billion on petrol and diesel to save the people from inflation.”

"We also gave a relief to farmers and traders. The power price was at Rs16 per unit during the PTI government and now it was Rs29.5 per unit," he added.
