PTI rejects results of Sindh LG elections

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected the results of the local government elections held in different districts of Sindh, including Karachi and Hyderabad.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary said that state machinery was used in the elections. "The Sindh government intimidated the people with blasts before the elections. Confusion was created for the low turnout," he added.

He said that rigging was done in the local government elections. "We demand that investigations should be held into the elections."

Fawad Chaudhdary said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly would be dissolved shortly and a summary regarding the assembly dissolution would be sent to the governor. "We hope the KP governor will not waste time like Punjab," he added.
