PTI's Amir Dogar, Tariq Rasheed of PML-N held after workers' clash in Multan

MULTAN (92 News) - Former MNA Amir Dogar and Sheikh Tariq Rasheed were arrested after a clash between the workers of the PML-N and the PTI outside the ECP office on Wednesday.

The clash started when PML-N's Sheikh Tariq Rasheed and PTI's Amir Dogar were going to file the nomination papers along with their workers for the NA-155 by-elections.

Workers from both parties pelted each other with stones and threw flower pots towards each other.

After the clash, the police arrested Sheikh Tariq Rasheed and Malik Anwar from Nishtar Hospital.

Meanwhile, PTI staged a protest demonstration against the arrest of Amir Dogar. They chanted slogans against the caretaker government and demanded immediate release of Amir Dogar.
