PTI's Barrister Khalid Khurshid elected Gigit-Baltistan chief minister

Speaker Amjad Zaidi presided over the special session. Barrister Khalid Khurshid secured 22 votes, while Amjad Hussain advocate of the opposition alliance got nine votes.

Barrister Khalid Khurshid belongs to bordering area of Ratto. He was elected as MLA from GBA-13, Astore-I on the ticket of the PTI.
