PTI's Mirza Afridi elected Senate deputy chairman

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Mirza Afridi, a candidate of the government and allies, was elected deputy chairman of the Senate on Friday.

Mirza Afridi bagged 54 votes while his opponent Abdul Ghafoor Haider, the PDM candidate, secured 44 votes.

No vote was rejected during the voting process.

Later, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani administered oath to Deputy Chairman Mirza Afridi.
