ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has sought permission for staging a sit-in on Srinagar Highway.

The application has been submitted to the Islamabad deputy commissioner. It has demanded security for the participants of the long march.

Meanwhile, the PTI has moved the Islamabad High Court (IHC) keeping in view the government threats regarding use of the power during the long march.

PTI leader Asad Umar said that the nervous government wants anarchy in the country to postpone the elections. "After May 25, decisions about Pakistan will not be made in closed rooms or on the basis of a conspiracy or corruption," he maintained.

He said that all arrangements are final for the long march. "The people will make history on May 25."

On the other hand, the Islamabad administration has decided to seal all passages leading to the Red Zone. Only Margallah Road will be left opened.
