PTI seeks permission to hold rally in D-Chowk; district administration refuses

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has written a letter to the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration seeking permission to hold rally at D-Chowk on October 4.
A meeting of PTI leadership was held at central secretariat regarding October 4 D-Chowk rally in which the responsibilities of the rally were given to PTI’s Islamabad chapter.
On the other hand, the district administration has decided not to give permission for the rally.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad said that due to precarious security situation there is ban on holding rallies in Red Zone after which the PTI threatened to hold sit-in.
