PTI Senator Azam Swati sent to jail in controversial tweets case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Special Central Judge Raja Asif Mahmood sent PTI Senator Azam Swati to jail in the controversial tweets case.

The court rejected the FIA's plea seeking extension in the remand of Azam Swati.

The court ordered the FIA to submit the reply till October 19.

Talking to the media on Monday, Azam Swati accused the FIA of torturing him. "I pray may Allah grant his age to Imran Khan. I will tell about each person who tortured me," he added.

The senator said that those getting the NRO II would not be spared.
