PTI stages countrywide protest against alleged rigging in elections

LAHORE (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stages a protest against alleged rigging in the elections in different cities on Saturday.

In Lahore, the police arrested PTI leader Salman Akram Raja and several workers during the protest demonstration on Jail Road. However, Salman Akram Raja was released after being detained briefly.

A large number of newly-elected candidates also participated in the protest.

The protest demonstrations were also held in other cities, including Pehsawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum and Pattoki.
