PTI stance proved true in Broadsheet issue, says Shibli Faraz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said that the PTI stance had proved true in the Broadsheet issue.

Addressing a press conference after the federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday, he said that the corrupt were given the way under political reconciliation. "The present government has nothing to do with Broadsheet. The country had to face a fine to the tune of 5,000 pounds daily if the amount was not paid," he added.

The minister said that it was mandatory to bring the investigations of Broadsheet before the public. "We hope all details will be exposed in 45 days," he added.

He said that PM Imran Khan wants to conduct the Senate election in a transparent way. "The PM wants to hold the Senate election through the open ballot. We can move the parliament if the need be," he added.

Shibli Faraz said that the cabinet had approve the establishment of an inquiry commission over the Broadsheet issue.

He said that economic indicators are moving towards the right direction. "Exports and remittances are increasing," he added. He said that it would be informed in a couple of days that when the coronavirus vaccine would be available in Pakistan.
