PTI will challenge ECP verdict withdrawing 'bat' symbol: Barrister Gohar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali has said that they will challenge the Election Commission of Pakistan's (ECP) verdict regarding withdrawal of the 'bat' symbol from the party.

Talking to the media outside Adiala jail on Saturday, he hoped that the court would return the party its symbol.

"We have the options of the Supreme Court and the Peshawar High Court to move the judgment. The withdrawal of the symbol from the PTI is a part of a conspiracy. We reject the verdict of the ECP," he declared.

The PTI chairman said that the country cannot afford chaos presently. "The PTI founder is the chairman and he will continue as the chairman," he added.

She said that they would move the court soon after getting the ECP order.
