PTI workers foil bid to throw shoe at Imran, detains suspect

FAISALABAD (92 News) – A man on Sunday was arrested by police for allegedly attempting to throw shoe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in Faisalabad. The PTI activists caught the man who came to hurl shoe at the party chairman and handed him over to the police after thrashing him. The alleged attacker was identified as Mirza Ramzan who was the resident of Faisalabad’s Hajiabad area and belonged to ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). His pictures with Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah were also available. The alleged attacker said that he was allegedly sent by the provincial minister’s son-in-law Rana Shehrayar for revenge attack.
