October 22, 2016
LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that Islamabad will not shut on November 2, instead PTI’s politics will end. He said that there is no justification for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) protest over Panama papers as the Supreme Court has already taken up the matter. Wherever Imran Khan delivers a speech against the government, the N-League wins. He was talking to newsmen after distributing laptops among students of Government College University in Lahore on Saturday. He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif respects constitution, law and the institutions. We will definitely go to the court if it summons us. The minister said that PTI should come to Parliament to record any protest on any matter if it believes in democracy. Ahsan Iqbal said that the PTI’s plan to lock down Islamabad would only damage its democratic credentials. Earlier, addressing the ceremony the minister said that the government is distributing laptops among the brilliant and deserving students purely on merit. This is the era of IT and we will have to encourage our youth to excel in this sector, he said.
