PTV recovery case: IHC orders to recover Rs 190m from Pervaiz Rasheed, three others

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to recover an amount of Rs 190 million from then information minister Pervaiz Rasheed, Ishaq Dar, Attaul Haq Qasmi and Fawad Hassan Fawad.

Hearing the PTV recovery case on Friday, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani ordered to submit a report within three months after recovering the amount. The court also ordered to ensure the recovery.

The PTV had moved the IHC for implementation of the order. The court had ordered to recover the amount on November 8, 2018 in the Attaul Haq Qasmi appointment case.

According to the verdict, Attaul Haq Qasmi had to pay 50 percent of the amount, while Pervaiz Rasheed and Ishaq Dar to pay 20 percent each. In addition, Fawad Hassan Fawad had to pay 10 percent of the total amount.
