Punjab AAG Khawar Ikram Bhatti slapped police official outside AC

Punjab Additional Advocate General (AAG) Khawar Ikram Bhatti slapped on duty Inspector Shakeel at the gate of the accountability court (AC). It is still unknown why the Additional Advocate General was present there. Khawar Ikram Bhatti is a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) worker and was also Lawyers Forum General Secretary. A clash between police and lawyers’ erupted when the security personnel barred them from entering the courtroom. The clash ignited when a lawyer slapped a police official. The agitating lawyers also threatened they won’t let the hearing start until all the lawyers weren’t allowed to enter the court.
