Punjab Assembly approves Tahaffuz Banyad-e-Islam Bill

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab Assembly approved the Tahaffuz Banyad-e-Islam Bill on Wednesday. The resolution was presented by PTI MPA Umar Tanvir. The House thanked Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi for approving the bill. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that the bill will prove a milestone for the religion. “The bill will protect the sanctity of Khatam-un-Nabiyyin Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), ‘Khulfa-e-Rashideen’ (RA), ‘Ummahat-ul-Momineen’, Ahl al-Bayt, Sahaba-e-Karam and Islam,” he said. He said that the Centre and provinces should follow Punjab in this regard.
