Punjab Assembly is fully functional in legislation, says Ch Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi has said that the assembly is fully functional in legislation.

They discussed several matters, including the parliamentary issues.

During a meeting with Punjab Minister Asif Nakai on Friday, he said that the Punjab Assembly had done the record legislation as compared to other assemblies.

"Being the custodian of the House, I have always encouraged legislation carried out for public issues. I have provided conducive environment for legislation to the government as well as opposition members," he maintained.

Asif Nakai said that Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi had listened to the public issues raised by the government and opposition members on priority basis. "The PA speaker has played a positive role in expediting the legislation process," he added.
