Punjab Assembly passes resolution against Indian PM’s statement

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab Assembly has passed a resolution condemning Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement about India’s role in turning East Pakistan into Bangladesh. PTI’s Mian Aslam Iqbal presented the condemnation resolution, saying that Indian PM Modi’s confession is a challenge for the international community. He demanded that the government should raise the issue in the United Nations and expose the sinister face of India. The resolution also demanded that the government should announce an effective strategy while determining national course of action against India. The session also unanimously approved resolution condemning cruelties against the Muslims in Myanmar. The session was adjourned till Thursday morning.
