Rioting case: Interim bail of Atta Tarar, Rana Mashhood extended till Sept 19

LAHORE (92 News) – A Lahore session court on Wednesday extended interim bail of Atta Tarar, Rana Mashhood including other PML-N leaders till September 19 in the Punjab Assembly rioting case.

Additional Sessions Judge Lahore Muhammad Yaseen Mohal heard the case. PML-N leaders including Ataullah Tarar, Rana Mashhood, Saif ul Malook, Rukhsana Kausar, Muhammad Mirza Javed, Awais Leghari and others appeared in the court.

During the hearing, PML-N leaders told the court that the case was registered to suppress the voice of the opposition. All the members of the assembly are being targeted for political revenge. Bail should be granted in the case. On which, the court extended interim bail to all the accused till September 19.

Talking to media, Attaullah Tarar said that this is a false and baseless case. “The right of government in Punjab used to be ours. More than 15 MPAs are with us. Imran Khan is advised to go and join the investigation.”
