Punjab Assembly speaker expresses anger over DC Faisalabad for his behavior

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has expressed anger over Deputy Commissioner (DC) Faisalabad for his behavior on Monday.

Pervaiz Elahi said that DC Faisalabad is not listening to anyone including him, the DC was at home and lied on the phone that he was in the meeting. He said that a rescue station was to be built in Faisalabad at a cost of Rs 100 million.

He wrote a letter for the station in Faisalabad but nothing happened. When the deputy commissioner was called, his gunman picked up the phone even though he was at home.

The Punjab Assembly speaker said that DC Faisalabad was not even listening to the provincial minister.
