Punjab Cabinet okays ‘Roshan Gharana’ program

LAHORE (92 News) - The Punjab cabinet approved the ‘Roshan Gharana’ program, announcing to give solar panels to the consumers using up to 500 units.

The decision was made during the 11 meeting of the cabinet chaired by Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz. The 90 percent cost of the solar panels will be paid by the government, while the consumers will pay 10 percent.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order has been mobilized in the field on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab. The cabinet committee reviewed the arrangements for Muharram processions and assemblies in DG Khan in this regard.
