Punjab Chemists Association observes strike

LAHORE (92 News) – A complete shutter down strike is being observed by the Punjab Chemists Association on Monday against the Punjab Drugs (Amendment) Bill 2017 passed by provincial assembly. The Punjab Assembly passed the Punjab Drugs Amendment Bill 2017 in which the manufacturer, importer or seller of a unregistered drug will be punished with between three and 10 years in prison and a fine of between Rs 25 million and Rs 50 million. People are facing difficulties in getting medicines as pharmacies in different cities of Punjab including Lahore are closed.
