Punjab CM Buzdar, PA Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi discuss public welfare steps

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday. They discussed the coronavirus situation and steps taken for public welfare. Both agreed to run the budget matter amicably. They said that the process of consultation would continue to improve the working relationship between both parties. The chief minister appreciated the efforts of Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi for banning three controversial books. “The people were united and will continue to unite for the progress and prosperity of the country,” he said. He said that the PML-Q is an ally of the PTI and they would go along with it. “No conspiracy will succeed by creating misunderstandings,” he added. Sardar Usman Buzdar said that they would fulfill the mission of the service of the masses. “People want practical steps, not shallow slogans. The Punjab government has done the record legislation during the shortest period,” he said. Ch Pervaiz Elahi reaffirmed that they are with the PTI and would continue to stand with it. “Our alliance is stronger than before and any attempt of weakening it will not succeed. We appreciate the good work done by CM Usman Buzdar and wholly support him. Unlike the past, the province is ruled by the golden principles of merit and good governance, instead of personal likes or dislikes. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is serving the masses. We are in the right direction and will continue to jointly serve the masses,” he declared. Moonis Elahi was also present on the occasion.
