Punjab CM files Rs 10b defamation suit against Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has filed an Rs 10 billion defamation suit against PTI chairman Imran Khan.

The suit was sent, through Khawaja Haris advocate, to Imran Khan at his Bani Gala residence, asking to apologize for accusing the government of offering him Rs10 billion to stay mum on the Panama Leaks issue.

Earlier addressing a laptop distribution ceremony on Monday, he said: “Should I give a Kalashnikov to students instead of laptops?”

He said that the laptop is a weapon in the war of economy.
