Punjab CM gives approval to run green electric buses in Lahore

The Punjab chief minister also approved recruitment of transport inspectors, sub-inspectors and sergeants and directed to take necessary steps for starting electric bus service as soon as possible.

Usman buzdar also directed to raise status of Lahore Transport Company (LTC) to Punjab Transport Company (PTC).

A meeting chaired by the Punjab CM also deliberated on different options for purchasing of the buses. Usman Buzdar directed transport department to submit their recommendations regarding the purchase process after considering all the options.
