Punjab CM Hamza Shehbaz orders immediate release of Shireen Mazari

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz has ordered the immediate release of PTI leader Shireen Mazari.

In a statement on Saturday, he said that Shireen Mazari being a woman is respectable and the arrest of any woman does not conform with the social values.

"The ACE staff arresting Shireen Mazari should be investigated. After investigation, the legal course will be adopted if the arrest will be unavoidable. However, I do not agree with the arrest of Shireen Mazari," he added.

He said that the PML-N being a political party believes in respecting women. "We condemn the foul language used against Maryam Nawaz in a public meeting in Multan.
