ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has held second meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan within the last 24 hours on Monday. According to the details garnered, Usman Buzdar met with the prime minster to discuss administrative changes and political scenario in Punjab. During the meeting, both the leaders exchanged views on political and administration matters. The sources said that the chief minister held consultations with PM Khan over administrations changes in the province. The sources further informed that the premier directed Usman Buzdar to control the inflation across the province. A day earlier, the Punjab chief minister had also spoken about administrative changes in the province during a conference of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) core committee chaired by PM Imran Khan. Importantly, the party’s core committee and members of the provincial assembly of Punjab had expressed serious concerns regarding the bureaucracy. On the other hand, PM Imran Khan has vowed on Monday that an efficient local bodies (LB) system is also being introduced in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) provinces. He was addressing a ceremony in connection with the launch of Clean Green Pakistan Index in Islamabad. The prime minster said that this LB system envisages empowerment of the people at the grassroots level. He said the elected representatives at the village level will also be made part of the regional level competitions on environmental indicators. PM Khan said that ‘Naya Pakistan’ will come in mind first than to earth. “When we decide to change, God will also bless on us. We are introducing the historic local bodies system,” he said.
