Punjab CM inspects coronavirus lockdown around Lahore via aerial view

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday inspected the situation of coronavirus lockdown around the Lahore through aerial view. According to the details garnered, Usman Buzdar took an aerial view of Lahore and suburbs to review situation of lockdown. Reviewing closed markets and commercial centres, He expressed satisfaction over safety steps taken by the government. The Punjab chief minister said that the spread of COVID-19 could only by control by staying at homes. Paying tribute to the law enforcement agencies, he termed the role of Pakistan Army, Rangers and police as exemplary. Usman Buzdar also thanked citizens of Lahore and other cities of Punjab for cooperating with the government in this situation. He maintained that he will visit other different cities of the province to inspect the implementation of measures taken by the government. The number of total coronavirus (COVID-19) cases reached 2,386 across Pakistan till Friday while 34 people have died till now. According to National Command and Control Authority, the nationwide tally of COVID-19 patients reached 2,386 with 761 cases in Sindh, 922 in Punjab, 169 in Balochistan, 276 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 187 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 62 in Islamabad and 9 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). As many as 9 patients are in critical condition, while 107 patients have recovered from the infection. Meanwhile, the coronavirus claimed Pakistan’s 34th life.
